About Us

We are engaged in fluid-dynamics research to realize next-generation aircraft for various applications, ranging from environmentally friendly aircraft to aircraft for planetary exploration.

In particular, we aim to advance aircraft and transportation systems by measuring, modeling, and controlling fluid phenomena related to airplanes.

Specifically, we are working on advanced measurement technologies, such as spatiotemporal super-resolution measurement that reconstructs the true field using machine learning from multiple measurements and imaging techniques for flow fields using molecules (PSP/TSP, GLOF). We also focus on fluid control technologies, including real-time observation and feedback control based on low-dimensional models, as well as research of the fundamentals of fluid dynamics using computer simulation and a specialized wind tunnel.
